While it stands as an advancement over its predecessors, concerns linger about potential legal actions from Nintendo against its developers, reminiscent of previous actions against Yuzu and Citra. As a Citra offshoot, Lime3DS runs on Android devices with at least version 9.0, a Snapdragon 835 processor, and a video chip supporting OpenGL ES 3.2 or Vulkan 1.1, alongside a minimum of 2 GB of RAM, ideally 4 GB.
